We're Back!

After nearly three years, two new jobs, and a whole lot of experience gained, Beespoke Protection is back—and better than ever.

Hi, I’m Charlotte, Founder and Lead Engineer of Beespoke Protection.

When I last looked at this project, it felt like an impossible challenge. Not just in terms of technical skill, but also in trying to bring it to life on my own. After struggling to secure further funding and focusing on my engineering career, I lost momentum with Beespoke and HiveGuard. It was tough to pick it back up.

But over the past few years, my experience has completely transformed. I’ve worked across software development, automation test engineering in manufacturing, and opto-electronic engineering in a small business setting, where I put my degree-level electronics skills to the test every day. This has given me the confidence to revisit the project with fresh eyes and a clear direction.

What’s Next?

While there’s not much technical detail to share just yet, I can give you a peek at the plan:

✅ Q1/Q2: Build the first prototype, gather initial feedback, and refine any major issues.
✅ Q2/Q3: Develop a more polished version and test it with real beekeepers.
✅ Q4: Finalize the product, ready to launch.

I’ll be sharing more details as things progress, and I can't wait to bring you along for the journey.
